Church hypocrisy is real—and the damage is real. So how do we recover? How do we live what we say we believe?
In Galatians 5:16–26, Paul gives us the evidence: when we walk by the Spirit, the fruit will show.
Today’s sermon is titled “We Are What We Believe” because our actions confirm our belief, and our belief leads to action. What we do is a witness to what we really believe. And in a culture where many are disillusioned by broken leadership, broken relationships, and “deconstructed” faith, Scripture doesn’t leave us guessing about the path forward.

-Why the Christian life involves a real internal war (desire, intent, will)
-How the law can expose sin but cannot defeat the flesh
-How genuine faith is accompanied by changed desire and new direction
-Why the Spirit’s fruit is organic—it grows from connection to Christ
-Why “keeping in step” kills pride, comparison, and self-reliance
APPLICATION (5 Practical Steps):
-Stay grounded in the gospel (it saves, sustains, sanctifies)
-Go to the Lord in good and bad times (refuge, gratitude, lament, praise)
-God is good—and I am not (humility, surrender, trust His sovereignty)
-If we’re keeping step, we’ll read and love God’s Word-Serve (because Jesus came to serve)
